Christ Before Our Eyes

Reading in Library

by Shane Scott

The Lord’s Supper is a time of remembrance, reflection, and rejoicing, yet we often turn our minds to a few fleeting thoughts in a hurried ceremony. Some will struggle to fill up a few minutes of focused thought about Jesus, not sure where to camp their thoughts. Others have their regular practice of reading a passage or turning to the beautiful words of a hymn. Yet, the Bible is filled from cover to cover with thoughts about the sacrifice of Jesus. There is no shortage of deep, abiding truths on which our minds can focus.

Join Shane Scott as he uncovers many of these deeper connections throughout the Word and explore the depth of the Gospel’s most central moments as Jesus died, was buried, and then rose again. These truths are of first importance and the foundation on which all of our hope rests. You are invited to come to Scripture and drink deeply from the cup of our Lord.
